Moving Meditation

Moving Meditation is miraculous medicine.

We are one; in body, mind, and spirit. While basking in nature, we move, breathe, and have our being within the whole of creation.

The Ancient Origin: Qigong (which translates to “cultivating vital energy”) is a 4,000-year-old Chinese system that integrates slow movement, breathwork, and meditation.

The Modern Qigong Era 1950s – Present: In the mid-20th century, the term “Qigong” was popularized when the Chinese government officially recognized its health benefits. It was systematized for hospitals and public wellness. Since the 1990s, the practice has gained international recognition for stress reduction, pain relief, and holistic health.

Today: Millions of people worldwide practice Qigong. Similar to its historical origin, those interested in Qigong come from diverse backgrounds and practice it for diverse reasons, including for exercise, recreation, preventative medicine, self-healing, self-cultivation, meditation, and martial arts training.
